Value and Conclusions
So we’ve seen that the Gamer Infinity CrossFire HD is more than a match for most modern games, although it loses a few points on build quality and due to its army of intrusively noisy cooling fans. However, the real killer for pre-built PCs is the price, but surprisingly this is where the Gamer Infinity CrossFire HD really excels.
We priced up the separate components to build our own identically specced PC over at Ebuyer.com, and were astonished to find they came in at £936.98 (inc VAT and shipping) If you removed the pre-overclock, additional cooling fans and dual UV cathode kit, the Gamer Infinity CrossFire HD comes in at just £40 more at £967.03! That represents simply astonishing value consider it all has to be put together and setup too, and on top of this the Cyberpower offers a 3 year warranty and lifetime technical support!
Frankly, we wonder how Cyberpower are making any money here considering the added cost of providing three years of warranty. Time and time again we’ve seen system builders charge enormous premiums for pre-builds, but here the pricing is fair and certainly seems a tempting proposition in comparison to self build if you’re the type of person who upgrades only once every 2 or three years.

Final Thoughts
The Cyberpower Gamer Infinity CrossFire HD provides fantastic modern gaming performance at a simply brilliant price for a pre-built machine. Being able to undercut self build is a phenomenal achievement, especially as it includes a three year warranty as standard! However, the problems of the build quality in our review sample, and the intrusive fan noise generated by the case's 10 separate cooling fans drag the whole machine down, although these can admittedly be solved to a degree thanks to Cyberpower’s customisable approach to building a PC, and the varied choices of available cases.

However, we’re certainly dubious of the value of Cyberpower’s overclocking service and case pimping UV lighting setup, which together add over £120 to the value of the machine; especially as the overclock wasn’t 100% stable in Crysis, and UV cold cathodes can be had for as little as £5 a pop if you buy them yourself. However, for those uninitiated into the dark art of overclocking, it might still be an attractive option, especially as the overclock is warranty guaranteed.
While those of us who self build will no doubt continue doing so, the Cyberpower Gamer Infinity CrossFire HD demonstrates a real attempt to offer a high performance gaming PC at a very reasonable price.
If you were to drop the overclock and cold cathodes, you’d have a genuinely attractive system even to those who would usually self build, albeit a very noisy one. As it stands, the Gamer Infinity CrossFire HD still offers excellent high performance value and a solid three warranty, although with some slightly disappointing build quality issues and unfortunately lacking collect and return without extra expenditure it's not perfect. For a grand, you could do a lot worse.
